Know what an article is based on.
An explanation, a calculation and a customer outcome are different kinds of evidence. Our publishing system keeps those differences visible.
Four formats, four reader tasks
- Guides explain a topic through mechanics, tradeoffs, examples and preparation steps.
- Comparisons use matching criteria and make conclusions conditional on the business situation.
- Cases disclose whether the account is actual, anonymized or illustrative.
- Blogs answer a focused question without recreating a complete guide.
Calculators remain separate tools. Their outputs depend on their inputs and assumptions.
Sources and examples
Material sourced claims link to the supporting source near the explanation. Source records identify scope and the date accessed. A provider’s public explanation is not a universal eligibility rule or an offer from Westwind.
Hypothetical calculations state their inputs and limitations. Illustrative cases do not represent real customers, observed business results or transactions arranged by Westwind. Customer names, quotations and outcomes require supporting records and publication permission.
Drafts are not expert-reviewed articles
The current pilot articles are AI-assisted drafts prepared for review. Their labels do not claim approval by a financial expert. An organization byline identifies the intended publisher; it does not imply that an unnamed adviser reviewed the content.
Before an article is marked published, the system requires an identified editor, a real reviewer, a review record, evidence ownership, a review due date and approval of the relevant business disclosure. This does not replace substantive human review.
Dates and corrections
Publication and update dates are recorded only when those events actually happen. Source-access dates are separate and do not imply article publication. A meaningful correction should update the article and its modification record; a cosmetic edit is not a reason to invent a fresh publication date.
If you find an error, send a correction with the article URL, the sentence or calculation in question and any supporting evidence. Do not include confidential customer records in an initial message.
Educational scope
The Knowledge Center is part of Westwind’s commercial website. It is not a claim of independent offer testing or an endorsement of every cited source. General education cannot determine your eligibility, contractual obligations or the suitability of an actual financing offer. Seek the appropriate financial, legal, tax or accounting advice for your situation.
