What this role is for.
Turn a confusing funding process into a decision the owner understands. You'll find out what the business is really trying to do, build a file lenders can underwrite from, run the lender conversations, and walk the owner through what each offer costs and what it gives up.
What you'd actually do.
- Run the first call. Find out how much they need, when they need it, and what they can't do.
- Turn their bank statements and financials into a file a lender can actually underwrite.
- Chase the documents, answer the lender's questions, gather the offers, and keep everything moving.
- Explain the cost, the payment schedule, the term, the collateral, the covenants, and the flexibility - in words the owner uses.
- Keep clean records and stay in touch, from the first call to the closing.
Experience and qualities.
- You've worked in business finance, lending, commercial banking, or consultative financial sales.
- You can read a set of bank statements and financials and see what's really going on.
- You write and speak clearly, and you get the details right.
- You can run several deals at once without treating anyone like a file number.
What we offer.
- Hybrid. Office days for working together, home days for heads-down work. The mix depends on your role and your team.
- Flexible hours. We care that clients are covered and you hit what you committed to. Nobody is counting your hours.
- Time off. Take what you need to rest, travel, and handle life. Plan it far enough ahead that your team is covered.
- Health coverage. If you're eligible, you get private health coverage. What's included depends on where you live, your role, and your employment arrangement.
- Career growth. Real ownership, direct feedback, more responsibility, and bigger deals as you're ready for them.
- People worth working with. Direct communication, mutual respect, and less hierarchy than you're used to in this industry.
